The area was really big and I enjoyed being surrounded by nature. The breakfast was delicious and the traditional Azorean dishes were a highlight. It was also great that car hire was included, making it easier to explore the surroundings.
The rooms were really outdated and in need of renovation. The lack of modern amenities was a downside, especially during the Christmas period when I wanted to relax with a good book but there was no reading lamp provided.

I recently stayed at a charming countryside hotel that transported me back in time. The overall approach focused on traditional settings, with rooms decorated in old-style furniture that captured the simplicity of the Azorean way. The attention to detail was impressive, from the warmly farm-style decorated breakfast room to the homemade cookies and marmalades served with freshly baked bread and fruits. It felt like I was staying in a living museum, with a working farm and beautiful gardens to explore. It was truly a unique experience.
All was fantastic, nothing to improve.

The breakfast was tasty and had homemade cookies and bread. The staff was nice and welcoming. The location was good with some nice walks nearby.
The room was really hot and lacked ventilation. Bugs were a big issue, and we couldn't get much sleep at night. The lack of internet in the rooms was very inconvenient for planning activities.
